The Haven of Hope Experience

Haven of Hope is not just a location – we’re a Community. Day-to-day at our House in Methuen, we’re highly mission-driven and singularly focused on constructively supporting Residents in their recovery journey. We provide a foundation for Residents to repair and rebuild themselves in a supportive environment. We’re a House of abstinence and lean on the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous / Narcotics Anonymous to prepare Residents to make a healthy transition to an independent, substance-free life. In the Post-pandemic world of virtual meetings, we encourage Residents to incorporate outside, in-person meetings into their meeting rotation so that they have an opportunity to build their recovery support group above and beyond that of the House, fostering supportive friendships in the broader recovery community.

While our Guidelines and Standards provide a structured experience, our monthly activities calendar adds an element of fun and enjoyment to the House – movie nights, paint nights, game nights and group outings are all part of the Haven of Hope experience. We’re also a house of celebration – it brings us joy to celebrate Residents’ recovery milestones, life milestones, birthdays and other blessings in life. We understand that life in of itself is worthy of gratitude and, therefore is to be celebrated.

Reach out to us if either you or someone you know may benefit from experiencing the Haven of Hope Community.
